About Kyle
Dr. Kyle Swanson is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in comprehensive hip and knee care. He proudly serves patients in Mankato, Minnesota, and throughout the region, offering experienced care plans and innovative, advanced treatments, including joint replacement and revision as well as minimally invasive and robotic-assisted hip and knee surgery.
Dr. Swanson joined The Orthopaedic & Fracture Clinic in 2002. He is a graduate of Mankato West High School, and he received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. Later, he earned his graduate degree and medical degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Dr. Swanson went on to complete his orthopaedic surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Swanson then pursued additional training in adult reconstructive joint surgery through a fellowship at the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.
In addition to serving the orthopaedic needs of our local communities, Dr. Swanson participated in medical mission trips to Ghana, Africa, over the course of 12 years. Outside of seeing patients, he also enjoys pursuits in farming, hunting, and cycling.
